Trail of Solitude

Down the by-lane, there stood a girl,
Lost in her memories, lost in thought,
Her eyes sunk in the land of the lost...

She wore a veil of mystery, with a trail of sadness,
She was trembling as the fear strangled her soul...
There was a pain that was hidden in every glance she gave,
Every breath she took reminded her of the past.

Her faith was raped, raped by the blinded followers,
The tears was the prayer that rolled by,
The trail of blood was the testimony...
Her voice never reached the dead god.
The moment was frozen in blood and lies...

She stood alone in the crowd, as the past buried her present,

She was melting in the cold trail of mist...
